ELECTRIC MOTOR CAR Russian patent published in 2010 - IPC B60L11/00

Abstract RU 2400378 C2

FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric motor car and can be used in designing the latter. Proposed electric motor car comprises body, running gear with suspension, storage battery, traction motors with wheel-hub drives and control mechanisms. Electric motor car accommodates DC motor drive connected to storage batteries and arranged on back-gear housing that accommodates driven shaft coupled with motor drive shaft and supporting movable disks with magnets. Several stationary disks are secured inside said housing, their number complying with that of movable disks. Stationary disk faces accommodate magnets secured thereon and having their like poles facing movable disks magnets. All magnets are mounted at an angle to their appropriate face surfaces. Stationary protective disks made from ferrous alloy and having through radial slots are secured between movable and stationary disks. Reduction gear driven shaft is coupled with DC generator with its output is connected via control mechanisms with traction motors and storage batteries.

EFFECT: economic use of storage batteries, increased car millieage.
