SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in agriculture, food, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industry, as well as medicine. The gas-discharge device for ozone synthesis has a closed, earthed gas-discharge chamber formed by coaxially arranged cooled cylinders - electrodes which are fitted with connection pipes for inlet and outlet of cooling agent and working gas with a high-potential spiral metal electrode tightly pressed to the inner surface of the chamber between said connection pipes. Said spiral electrode is coated with dielectric material and is connected to a high-frequency high-voltage source.
EFFECT: invention enables bilateral cooling of the spiral electrode and optimum use of the surface of the discharge zone.
