SUBSTANCE: proposed gas-discharge device has coaxially disposed electrodes. Internal electrode is made in the form of hollow through cylinder with countersunk-edge holes on side surface pointing into discharge gap. Internal electrode is covered with insulating material on countersunk end. Oxygen-containing gas is fed to discharge area and air stream is allowed to flow over outwardly perforated electrode.
EFFECT: enlarged range of predetermined stable ozone-air mixture concentration, reduced power requirement for ozone electric synthesis and discharge zone cooling.
