FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be implemented in powder metallurgy for production of ultra-nano-disperse powders of transition metals. Soot is introduced into source solution at ratio (in terms of metal oxide) metal oxide : soot =1:(3÷7). Acid solution of compound of transition metal or solution of mixture of acid compounds of transition metals is neutralised to pH 7.0-8.0. Foreign salts are separated from produced metal hydroxide or from mixture of produced metal hydroxides. Further, produced metal hydroxide or mixture of metal hydroxides are treated with microwave radiation at frequency within range of 2450-3000 MHz at power 600-700 Wt.
EFFECT: increased specific surface of powder materials, reduced dimension of particles, cut down time of synthesis process and reduced power expenditures.
