FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention discloses a method of obtaining pure decaphenyl cyclopentasilane by reacting freshly distilled diphenyl dichlorosilane with ultra-fine lithium metal in a medium of dry tetrahydrofuran, taken in ratio of 1:2 at temperature between minus 10°C and minus 20°C and then treatment of the reaction mass with distilled water.
EFFECT: design of a method of obtaining decaphenyl cyclopentasilane, which ensures high output and low cost of the desired product while maintaining high purity of the desired product.
