FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to bitumen obtaining method with preliminary air oxidation of initial raw material at oxidation temperature in external film dispersing device with further oxidation of gas-liquid mixture in pipeline and by final oxidation in oxidation column; at that, for preliminary oxidation there supplied is the whole volume of the air required for oxidation. Some part of oxidated bitumen cooled to 160-200°C is returned to oxidation column as recirculate.
EFFECT: increasing operating efficiency of oxidation column and enlarging the range of obtained products.
