FIELD: test equipment.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises a bed, a sealed chamber installed on it, a sample holder, a counter-sample holder, recording instruments, a loading unit and a drive, which are installed in the sealed chamber. Side supports of the crossbar are installed on the bed and fixed with the help of bolts and pins. On the side supports, an assembled crossbar with counterbody is installed and fixed with the help of bolts and pins, the counterbody is movable in the vertical plane in the direction of the Z axis, crossbar comprises an electric motor for moving the counterbody in the vertical direction, a pneumatic cylinder that loads the sample, as well as a force sensor located on the rod between the counterbody and the pneumatic cylinder to control the loading. At the base of the bed of the device for testing materials for wear and friction, a platform is installed with the possibility of movement in the horizontal plane in the directions of the XY plane coordinates system, on which a replaceable test module is installed, which includes a drive and an actuator for testing samples with a linear reciprocating movement in a horizontal direction or with a rotational movement around a vertical axis, wherein the normal load is applied from the upper sample to the lower sample at any point within the range of movements of the platform, while the force sensor remains centred relative to the crossbar, and the sealed chamber, in which the test module is located, provides cooling or heating of the working area in the temperature range from -70 to +200 °C.
EFFECT: possibility to investigate various materials for wear resistance in the required temperature range with high accuracy of load value setting and measurement of friction and wear forces, and also to reduce labour intensity of the testing process.
