FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: valve has a housing with an internal cavity in which there are oppositely lying light-receiving openings, and a gas analysing device for controlling passage of light through the light-receiving openings in form of an explosive charge inside a shell which is initiated by an electric discharge made with possibility of overflow of explosion products into the cavity of the housing. A rod is placed inside the housing with possibility of longitudinal displacement. On one end of the housing there is cap with a damper of the longitudinal displacement of the rod. A gas analysing device is attached to the other end of the housing with formation of an airtight rod end cavity. There is a longitudinal through light-transmitting groove on the rod for alignment with the light-receiving openings in the housing for movement of the rod in the rod end cavity in a given time. There are also two through openings on the lateral surface of the housing and there is a second longitudinal groove on the lateral surface of the rod. The first through opening is meant for bleeding gaseous products of explosive conversion of the charge, and a screw is turned into the second openings with possibility of entering the second longitudinal groove on the lateral surface of the rod.

EFFECT: stable exposure time, high reliability of the experiment, reduced cost price and labour input, possibility of multiple use.
