SUBSTANCE: circular zone with identification marking is formed on multi-element photodetector, this three-angle image of circular zone is automatically processed with application of morphological reference-directed filter, then filtered images of hole fragments are mathematically processed.
EFFECT: improved reliability of identification marking recognition at circular section of side surface after long-term storage in unfavourable conditions that lead to marking damage.
