FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: storage battery comprises positive electrode representing horizontal cup made from poreless carbon material filled with carbon material of high adsorption material, negative electrode representing horizontal perforated aluminium disk coated by zinc and fitted in aluminium cup with isolated inner surface. Separator represents poreless perforated cation-exchange membrane. Additive of tetrabutyl ammonium is added to anolyte.
EFFECT: good cycling capacity of zinc electrode, longer life, reduced self-discharging capacity.
