FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: method for protection of group object consists in the fact that in safe area beyond the limits or inside of group object a false target is arranged. According to the first version, after detection of protected object lighting by laser beam of enemy, protected object is illuminated by laser beam with parametres of generation, which are similar to parametres of generation of laser beam of enemy illumination, but are more intense regarding illumination, and then illumination spot is moved from protected object towards false target. According to the second version, between protected objects and false target there are chains of imitation lasers aimed vertically upwards, having generation parametres similar to generation parametres of laser beam of enemy illumination, and after detection of illumination in one of protected objects by enemy laser beam, the first two imitation lasers closest to protected object are switched on to form illumination spot. Afterwards imitation lasers subsequent on the way to false target are switched one by one, and imitation lasers at the side of protected object are switched off to move illumination spot towards false target.

EFFECT: guaranteed protection of objects against highly accurate weapon with laser homing system.
