METHOD OF PRE-OPERATIONAL DIFFERENTIAL DIAGNOSTICS OF SUPRATENTORIAL GLIAL TUMOURS IN CHILDREN OF EARLY SCHOOL AGE Russian patent published in 2010 - IPC A61B5/16 

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to neurooncology. Child is given to listen to 10 words, coefficient of learning them by heart after repeating them thrice ("КПсл₃") and coefficient of learned words in case of their delayed reproduction ("ДПсл") are determined. After that child is shown nine geometric figures during 30 seconds and by number of figures reproduced correctly volume of visual memory ("КПо") is determined. After that four Schultz tables are shown, time of looking for numbers from 1 to 25 is fixed, coefficient of mean attention volume (AV) is determined. If ("КПсл₃") is not lower than 7.3±0.4, "ДПсл" is not lower than 3.6±0.6, "Кпо" is not lower than 5.7±0.6, AV is not higher than 105.2±9.4, oligoastrocytoma is diagnosed, and if "КПсл₃" is not higher than 5.1±0.6, "ДПсл" is not higher than 1.7±0.3, "Кпо" is not higher than 2.4±0.4 and AV is not lower than 172.3±24.5 astrocytoma is diagnosed.

EFFECT: method extends arsenal of means of pre-operational differential diagnostics of supratentorial glial tumours in children of early school age.
