FIELD: medicine; clinical laboratory diagnostics; oncology.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for preoperative diagnostics of glial tumors. Blood is analyzed to determine specific activity of blood hexokinase, specific level of sodium and zinc in blood. If the specific activity of hexokinase in the blood is more than 0.1 cU/g of protein, the specific level of sodium is more than 49.45 mcg×10−3/1 g of protein, the specific level of zinc is more than 0.01 mcg×10−3/1 g of protein, the presence of tumor is diagnosed. At specific activity of hexokinase in blood of 0.21 cU/g of protein and less, specific level of sodium 71 mcg×10−3/1 g of protein and less, specific level of zinc 0.09×10−3/1 g of protein and less, degree of anaplasia 1–2, predicting low, less than 10%, level of Ki-67. If the specific activity of hexokinase in the blood is more than 0.21 cU/g of protein, the specific level of sodium is more than 71 mcg×10−3/1 g of protein, the specific level of zinc is more than 0.09×10−3/1 g of protein, degree of anaplasia 3–4, predicting high, more than 10%, level of Ki-67.
EFFECT: method enables to predict the level of Ki-67, based on which a diagnosis is established, that is, provides early diagnosis at the preoperative stage and predicting the degree of malignancy of cerebral neoplasms, due to analysis of blood properties: specific activity of blood hexokinase and specific level of sodium and zinc in blood.
