FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention pertains to animal husbandry and can be used in fodder production. Essence of the method lies in using 50% aqueous solution of oxyethenediphosphonic acid with preliminary dilution with water in the ratio 1:2 or 25% aqueous solution of a zincous complex of sodium salt of oxyethenediphosphonic acid at a rate of 4.5-5.5 ml/kg and 9-10 ml/kg respectively as a conservant.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to lower the depletion of nutrients, improve quality of conserved fodder and widen the assortment of chemical conservants.
