FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to maxillofacial surgery and surgical dentistry and can be used for treating sialodochitis and scarry strictures of excretory salivary ducts. Substance of the method consists in the introduction of coronary balloon catheter in the cavity of an intact portion of duct, the dilatation of the balloon to the duct diametre, the record of the required air volume. The catheter is introduced through a duct opening into the stricture to pump air at least twice in amount exceeding the recorded value in 1.3-1.8 times. After removing the catheter, the salivary gland region is massaged for 1-3 minutes.
EFFECT: use of the given invention allows extending the excretory salivary duct due to scar destruction, restoring the volume and function of the duct, preserving excretory and incretory function of the salivary gland by a bloodless minimally invasive surgical technique.
