SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to electric diagnostics. Stimulating electrodes are brought to pathologically changed nerve and electric stimulation of nerve is performed. Before this, at pre-operational stage electric stimulation is carried out on healthy side and parameters of stimulating pulses, which cause muscle contraction, are determined. Then after introduction of myorelaxant, electric stimulation of nerve on healthy side is repeated by electric pulses with value determined at pre-operational stage. When muscles contract, intraoperational electric stimulation of pathologically changed nerve by supra-threshold pulses is carried out, and if muscle contraction is detected, preservation of nerve conductivity is diagnosed.
EFFECT: method extends arsenal of means for carrying out intraoperational electric diagnostics of peripheral nerves.
