FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns medicine, namely to neurosurgery. Stimulation by an electric current with intensity to 100 mAmp and duration of impulses from 1 to 5 msec in an intraoperative manner after localisation of a terminal thread and nervous roots is carried out. The response to an electric irritation is registered, and in the absence of the response the stimulated structure is estimated as a terminal thread.
EFFECT: way dilates an arsenal of agents for identification of a terminal thread at treatment of a syndrome of the fixed spinal cord.
