METHOD OF TREATING CHRONIC OSTEMYELITIS IN CHILDREN Russian patent published in 2010 - IPC A61N2/04

Abstract RU 2402358 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: in order to solve said problem in method of treatment of chronic hematogenic ostemyelitis in children, including exposure to low-frequency electromagnetic radiation by means of inductors placed transversally in region of inflammation, suggested is to perform impact by fluctuating magnetic fields in range of frequencies 0.5-10000 Hz, in intermittent mode with signal sending equal 1 second, pause - 2 seconds, amplitude modulation of triangular form, modulation depth - 100%, magnetic induction 20 mT, 50 Hz using bipolar inductive sensors, which in transverse application in field of inflammation are oriented with different poles, impact is performed during 20 minutes, course includes 10-15 daily procedures. Application of claimed method will allow to increase efficiency of complex treatment of hematogenic osteomyelitises in children, will increase sensitivity of pathogenic flora to antibacterial therapy, reduce terms of rehabilitation in post-operational period, improve quality of patients' life due to quicker recovery of affected organ function.

EFFECT: application of domestic physiotherapeutic equipment allows to use claimed method both in hospital and in outpatient setting.
