FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: scull is formed on bottom of pelletiser; moist charge is supplied into pelletiser in two flows in sum amounting to total consumption of charge. The first flow with a consumption rate 0.2-0.4 of total charge consumption is introduced into the flow of compressed air forming a gas-moisture-charge jet. On the bottom of the pelletiser there is made a zone occupied with charge and a zone free of charge. Charge sputtered with the gas-moisture-charge jet facilitates nucleation oriented onto scull in the free of charge zone, thus producing dense layer of moist charge divided to pellets in form of moist charge briquettes. Scull is cleaned off pellets; charge of the second flow supplied to pellets forms pellets shell by nuclei after-pelletising. Also carbon fine fractions at amount of 2-6 % of its consumption are added into the first flow of charge; contents of fine grain carbon in shell of pellets is maintained at not more, than 1.0 % to ensure ratio of sputtering within ranges 0.5-0.7.
EFFECT: upgraded quality of pellets and reduced consumption of fuel.
