FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: at the pelletiser bottom there formed is slag lining; wet charge is supplied in two flows, and the first one of them is added to compressed air flow so that three gas-moisture-charge jets are formed. Nucleation with charge sputtering on slag lining with gas-moisture-charge jets is performed so that dense layers of wet charge are obtained from each jet with their partial overlapping at their formation. The above dense charge layer is divided into nuclei by means of longitudinal and transverse dividers; nuclei are removed from slag lining, pelletised till pellets are obtained and heat treated. Besides, gas-moisture-charge jets are located in series one after another; the first and the second gas-moisture-charge jets in rotation direction of pelletiser bottom are formed with jet devices with injection coefficient equal to 20-30, and the second gas-moisture-charge jet is formed with jet device with injection coefficient equal to 5-10. Water in quantity of 10-30 kg/t of pellets is supplied to overlapping area of the second and the third gas-moisture-charge jets.
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of the method and reducing the fuel consumption for heat treatment.
