FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ferrous metallurgy, specifically to production of iron-ore pellets. Wet charge is fed into pelletizer in two flows and slag lining is formed on bottom of pelletizer. First charge flow is fed into compressed gas flow in jet engine housing to form gas-moisture-charge jet. At the bottom of the pelletizer there is formed a zone occupied with charge and a zone free from charge. Nucleation is carried out by sputtering of charge on slag lining with gas-moisture-charge jet in zone free from charge. Dense sprayed layer of wet charge is obtained. Said dense layer of wet charge is divided into nuclei by means of plate-like blades. Slag lining is cleaned from nuclei by means of rotary drum with ribs. Pellets are formed by pelletizing of nuclei with charge of second flow to pellets. Reflected stream of gas and mixture formed at charge sputtering by gas-moisture-charge jet is oriented to slag lining. Perimeter area of slag lining layer of charge is formed on slag lining by installation of reflector on its border. In the lower part of the reflector there are openings for passage of the reflected flow of gas and charge and formation of the bulk layer of the charge, as well as slot clearance for passage of the sprayed layer of charge. After sputtering of the mixture, the peripheral zone of the sprayed layer is compacted by means of flexible self-stressed elastic aprons installed on the path of its movement. Charge scaffold on which the bulk layer of charge is formed is preliminarily moistened with a torch irrigation. Inner surface of reflector is made of antifriction materials.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of strength of pellets and capacity of pelletizer.
