FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: rolling bearing consists of external and internal rings with rolling elements (balls or rollers) installed between them and retained with separator at distance one from another along circumference between rings. The rolling elements contact spring elements of the rings or the separator and perform reciprocal motions in the direction of radial forces. Also the rolling elements can be installed in seats, made in the rings or in the case of the separator along their external or internal diametre in the direction parallel to their central axis; the rolling elements thrust against springs positioned in orifices connected with the seats and arranged in the direction of radial forces. Maximal diametre of tops of the rolling elements projecting from the separator can differ from diametres of recesses of grooves of the rings at value of amplitude of possible fluctuations of the bearing; a gap of the same value can be made between the rings and the separator. The rings can be made in form of springs of open box-like shape with a cavity on a side or with a slit along the groove to retain rolling elements, or with a cavity on a base side. The orifices for the springs can be made in the direction of equal radial and axial forces at radial-thrust design of the bearing. The procedure for fabrication of bearings with rings of a box-like shape consists in cogging or in rolling a sheet work-piece around fusible insertion; further, the insertion is removed when rings are heated for quenching; also heating and quenching of rings can be performed at a process premises. According to another version of the fabrication procedure the cavities in the rings are ground; at grinding the ring can be imparted with a counter motion at a cutting speed.
EFFECT: raised smoothness of operation of "shaft-bearing-case" systems; improved conditions of operation and increased service life of items.
