SUBSTANCE: end milling cutter with tangential fastening of tips includes body on outer lateral surface of which opened grooves are formed mounting cutting, cutting-deforming and deforming tips having tangential basic supporting surface for tip base and lengthwise supporting surface for lateral side of tip inclined relative to axis of milling cutter and axial basic supporting surfaces. In order to enlarge manufacturing possibilities, tips mounted in grooves and having regular geometry shape or trihedral tips with protrusions on lateral surfaces are provided with lengthwise recesses along their whole thickness near apexes in transition joining zones of mutually abutting pairs of lateral surfaces. Said recesses are in the form of radius grooves. Round tips have crosswise recesses in the form of radius grooves.
EFFECT: enlarged manufacturing possibilities.
