FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: tool has body, rotary replaceable nonreground plates and their installation and attachment members. Members of installation and attachment of cutting or deforming plates are introduced into construction of tool for correction of drawbacks of the tools. Worm tool teeth in end-face section are shaped as sectors secured on body for assembly and disassembly. Replaceable nonreground plates are positioned on adjacent teeth in plane of their profile with alternation at different height. Modified sections coinciding with tooth profile in the plane are provided on side edges of plates. Replaceable nonreground plates may be 5-, 6-, 8-edge, round and trapezoidal.
