FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: high-voltage pulse generator for electrodischarge technologies contains the following components, installed in one cylindrical housing (1) and series-connected: a multichannel spark arrester (2), a capacitive storage (3) and a pulse transformer; each spark gap of the multichannel spark arrester (2) has a control electrode (8) connected (through a resistor (10)) to a planted electrode and (through a capacitor (11) and a cable (12) to the anode of an additionally added starting arrester (13). The planted electrode serves as the coverplate (7) of the multichannel spark arrester (2). The capacitive storage (3) is composed of paralleled cylindrical capacitors (14). The ferromagnetic core (4) and the high voltage electrode (19) of the pulse transformer are electrically connected.
EFFECT: impulse front oversteepening, wave resistance reduction, increased reliability and extended life of the generator.
