FIELD: pulse engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a pulse technique and can be used to destroy objects by an electric pulse method. High-voltage pulse generator contains a high-voltage electrode connected to the destroyed object and connected to the high-voltage terminal of the secondary winding of a linear pulse transformer (LPT), capacitive storage C1, connected via switches to the primary LPT coils, charger, charging capacitive storage C1, spark arrester with impulse capacitor CGIT, recharged from a separate charger, herewith the LPT core is made with a section allowing the core to be in an unsaturated state before the electrical breakdown of the destroyed object and proceed to a saturated state after the breakdown of the destroyed object. Due to the use of an additional pulse capacitor CGIT and saturation of the LPT core after the breakdown of the destroyed object, the current in the discharge channel increases in many times.
EFFECT: technical result is an improvement in the efficiency of energy release in the discharge channel in the destroyed object.
