FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: screening material used is tapes made from amorphous and/or nanocrystalline magnetically soft alloy based on cobalt with initial magnetic permittivity of the alloy of not less than 20·103. The tapes are fixed relative each other using elastic polymer material having adhesion to the tape of not less than 1 MPa and overlap by a distance not less than the thickness of the tape. The disclosed screened box can have leads for measurement apparatus and a life support system.
EFFECT: design of a novel structure for screening chambers with an internal volume completely protected from external electromagnetic effects.
