FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to orthopaedics. Osteotomy of isthmus of the iliac bone is performed between the anterosuperior and anteroinferior iliac spine close to the anterosuperior iliac spine. Shortening of the hip bone is enabled by resection of the acetabular fragment to be displaced in the cranial direction.
EFFECT: technique allows eliminating a compression effect on the whirlbone.
