FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to surgery and paediatrics, and can be used for reconstruction of cotyloid cavity in children with hip joint pathology. Iliac osteotomy is performed from an anteroinferior spine to a greater ischial notch and a posterior portion of the horizontal branch of the Y-shaped cartilage. Oblique periacetabular osteotomy of superior branch of pubic bone is performed. Cotyloid cavity is rotated outwards and anteriorly and its shape is changed at the level of the Y-shaped cartilage to ensure a spherical coverage of the femoral head. Fragments are fixed with the help of transplant and K-wires.
EFFECT: method provides higher efficiency of surgical management of children with hip joint pathology due to application of surgical technique allowing to increase degree of cotyloid mobility.
