FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: applicator for the delivery of an inserted device in the body cavity comprises a cylinder with an insertion end and an opposite gripping end, a lubricant carrier functionally connected with the cylinder, a liquid lubricant being in a liquid connection with the lubricant carrier, and optionally a piston movable in the cylinder for the ejection of the inserted device from the cylinder into the body cavity. The cylinder can comprise the inserted device. The applicator can be a part of a packed applicator system.
EFFECT: invention allows facilitating the introduction of, eg, a tampon in the body cavity and ensuring a cleanness sensation.
