FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: applicator for self-expanding intravaginal device, applied in case of incontinence includes cylinder, which has introduction end, opposite to it grip end and central part; placed and made in such a way as to receive self-expanding intravaginal device; piston, telescopically moved inside cylinder, placed and made in such a way as to push out self-expanding intravaginal device from introduction end of cylinder by pushing piston into grip end of cylinder. Set of flexible petals in fact close introduced end of cylinder, with set of flexible petals being made of first, flexible, material, and central part of cylinder is made of second, rigid, material. Central part of cylinder allows deformation up to 3 mm under impact of loading, equal at least 15 H. First element, including introduced end and petals, and second element, including grip end and central part, are made as one whole by two-stage cast pressing. Other aspects of invention include intravaginal system, applied in case of incontinence, and methods of applicator manufacturing.
EFFECT: increase of applicator strength with simultaneous increase of flexibility and softness of petals is provided.
