SUBSTANCE: method of the preparation of solubilised ibuprofen, preferentially granulated, involves the stages of preparing a mixture containing solid ibuprofen and at least one base, and conducting a reaction of ibuprofen and the base in the essentially dry condition. The first base is chosen from the group including sodium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide, sodium carbonate, potassium carbonate, sodium glycinate, potassium glycinate, trisodium phosphate and tripotassium phosphate and their mixtures. The reaction mixture contains 0.5 to 1.5 moles of the first base in one mole of ibuprofen and less than 2.5 moles of waters in one mole of ibuprofen.

EFFECT: prepared granulated material, and pharmaceutical compositions and dosage forms -prepared thereof are characterised by good solubility, fast desintegration and water dissolution, good flowability and compressibility, fast beginning of an analgesic effect.
