FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to enrichment of mineral raw and can be used for lump separation of both radioactive and cold ores. Proposed method comprises feeding ore lumps into measurement zone, registration of ionising radiation flux by measurement assembly, separating ore lumps into enrichment products to the level at which the signal exceeds preset threshold of separation. Prior to separation and proceeding from data on contrast range of analysed sample, criterion of ore lump bulk record feasibility is defined consisting in that, for ore lumps with weight exceeding mean value (qi<
) the content is below threshold level (αi<αt), while their total yield (γi) multiplied by the amount of useful component (·βi) would have been larger than for ore lumps with weight below average value (qi<
) with the content above threshold level (αi<αt) and amount of useful component below threshold level (Mi<Mt).
EFFECT: higher efficiency of separation.
