FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to nanotechnology and preparation of colloidal solutions of luminescent semiconductor materials used to apply semiconductor coatings as luminescent markers. The initial reaction mixture containing oleyl amine, oleic acid and an inorganic zinc-containing precursor in form of zinc nitrate is heated in an inert atmosphere to 80-100°C and kept at the same temperature for 15-30 minutes for dissolution of zinc nitrate and then heated to 200-250°C and held at the same temperature for 1-4 hours. A polar solvent is added to the obtained solution and coagulated nanoparticles are separated by centrifuging. The obtained precipitate is dissolved in a non-polar solvent. After dissolving zinc nitrate, diphenyl ether is added to the reaction mixture. Hexadecane is also added to the initial reaction mixture.

EFFECT: lower cost of the process, easy production.
