FIELD: pharmaceuticals.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to produce water-soluble magnetopaque agents for the diagnosis, therapy, and theranostics of oncological diseases of the brain. Magnetopaque media constitute gadolinium-containing nanocomposites wherein the stabilising and transport matrix consists of macromolecules of a polysaccharide selected from arabinogalactan and raw arabinogalactan. The nanoparticles encapsulated in the matrix consist of Gd2O3, GdBO3, or constitute Gd and Fe-containing bimetallic nanoparticles. The nanoparticles are 1 to 100 nm in size. The range of gadolinium content in the nanocomposites is 1.7 to 18 wt.%. Proposed are methods for producing nanocomposites containing Gd2O3, GdBO3, or bimetallic nanoparticles Gd and Fe.
EFFECT: possibility of simplifying the production of stable magnetopaque media preserving the properties thereof for a long time and suitable for double-channel theranostics of neoplasms.
