FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, particularly, to production of nano-sized zinc oxide powder. It may be used for production of room ferromagnetic devices, gas and optical sensors, luminophors, transistors and LEDs. To produce nanotubes, mixes of ethylene glycol and zinc formate of Zn(HCOO)2·2H2O composition taken in stoichiometric ratio are heated to extract precipitated precursor from solution. Obtained precursor precipitate is extracted from solution by vacuum filtration, rinsed by dehydrated acetone, dried and calcinated at 350-400°C. To produce nanotubes of doped zinc oxide Zn1-xMxO, where M is Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu and 0.005≤x≤0.2, added additionally is formate of transition metal M(HCOO)2·2H2O, where M is Mn, Co, Fe, Ni, Cu.
EFFECT: simplified process, ruled pout structural instability of precursor.
