SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mortar for holding facing bricks or slabs on vertical and horizontal surfaces, ceramic facing or facing from natural rock on deformable surfaces subject to heating or effect of atmospheric factors. The adhesive mortar contains a dry mixture to which water must be added, where the said mixture contains the following, wt %: portland cement 28.0-36.0, quartz sand with 0.1-1.25 mm grains 45.0-70.0, ground limestone with 0.1-0.5 mm grains 5.0-10.0, ground quartz with grain size of up to 0.3 mm 1.0-7.0, modified cellulose ester 0.2-0.6, re-dispersible powder 2.0-5.0, hydrophobic reagent - mixture of sodium oleate and calcium stearate 0.05-0.5, flue ash 2.5-7.0, modified starch ether 0.02-0.06, cellulose fibre 0.4-1.0, hydrophobisating reagent in form of silicon powder in wax mini-capsules 0.21-0.5, cement setting retarder 0.05-0.1, nanosize sheet silicate 0.05-0.8.
