FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil refining and specifically to a method of refining crude oil and bitumen. The invention pertains to a combined method of transporting and refining crude oil or bitumen, involving: dilution of crude oil or bitumen at the production site with a diluent which contains a hydrocarbon having 3-8 carbon atoms so as to form a mixture; transportation of the mixture from the production site to an installation for deasphalting with a solvent; deasphalting the mixture in the said installation in order to extract a fraction of asphaltenes, a fraction of deasphalted oil which is essentially free from asphaltenes, and a solvent fraction; separation of water and salts from the fraction of asphaltenes, fraction of deasphalted oil and solvent fraction in the installation, deasphalting with a solvent; and feeding at least a portion of the solvent fraction to the production site for dilution of crude oil or bitumen and formation of a mixture. The invention also relates to method of refining raw material and a device for refining raw material.
EFFECT: simple process of refining crude oil or bitumen with conversion thereof to useful hydrocarbon products.
