FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method for combining the solvent deasphalting process and a resin separation process is described, comprising: adding a solvent to a stream of heavy hydrocarbons containing asphaltenes, resin and oil; removing asphaltenes from the heavy hydrocarbon stream to produce a deasphalted flow of petroleum products, a solution containing a solvent, resin fractions and pitch fractions; heating the solution containing the solvent to precipitate the resin fraction; separating the resin fraction from the solution containing the solvent to produce a resinous product and a mixture containing oil and a solvent; applying heat to the said mixture to vaporize the solvent fraction; removing the fraction of the evaporated solvent from the said mixture to produce a deasphalted petroleum product without resin; thermal cracking of the resin fraction to produce a residual thermal cracking product and a light thermal cracking product; extracting the residual thermal cracking product to separate the deasphalted petroleum product and tar pitch produced by thermal cracking; combining pitch produced by thermal cracking with a pitch fraction; treating the combined pitch produced by thermal cracking and a pitch fraction in a delayed coking unit.
EFFECT: producing higher yields of products in combination with lower energy costs and lower transportation costs.
