FIELD: chemistry; biochemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology and can be used in laboratory diagnosis of tuberculosis. The method involves preparation of a glycerin solution by dissolving monosubstituted potassium phosphate, sodium citrate, magnesium sulphate, glycocol, malachite green in glycerin in given ratio of components. The obtained glycerin solution is added to vitelline mass which is taken in a volume equal to 11-20 times the volume of glycerin solution to obtain a concentrate. The obtained concentrate is diluted with distilled water whose volume is not less than 1.2 times the volume of the concentrate.
EFFECT: invention enhances selective properties of the culture medium and widens the range of culture media for growing microorganisms.
