FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: frictional brake unit contains the first driving shaft, frictional braking element, elements for transmitting movement between driving shaft and braking element which elements are made capable to move frictional braking element in axial direction relative to driving shaft between the first position of engaged brake where frictional braking element is locked by contact with engaging surface and second position of disengaged brake where frictional braking element is separated from engaging surface and is able to rotate being actuated by driving shaft. The elements are executed with inconstant connection means which are made capable to engage and disengage driving shaft and frictional braking element. Inconstant connection means have rod element provided on driving shaft or frictional braking element; in the other of specified elements a cavity is formed. The rod element is made capable to move between operative position inside cavity where it can transfer movement to another element of the mentioned elements, and disengaged position outside the cavity where driving shaft and frictional braking element are constantly disengaged by means of relative displacement of driving shaft and frictional braking element along at least one channel of entrance and exit to and from the cavity.
EFFECT: simplified drive mounting.
