FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. Circular suturing instrument comprises reciprocating drive shaft and trigger rod. Reciprocating drive shaft has first engaging element on shaft end and threaded adjustment element on its base. One end of trigger rod is movably connected with trigger. Second end of trigger rod is movably connected to suturing head unit by means of second engaging element. Rod has first engagement surface, located opposite to appropriate second engagement surface, which is represented by reciprocating drive shaft.
EFFECT: circular suturing instrument comprises element for reduction of friction between first and second surfaces of engagement to reduce friction between reciprocating drive shaft and trigger rod.
