FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions can be used for pumping gas from cut-off section of main gas line (MGL) to its operating area. To operating section of MGL the entire gas contained in the disconnected section is pumped with the help of two-stage mobile hydraulically driven compressor and additional mobile water separating plant with nitrogen compressor. At the first stage the gas pressure at disconnected section is reduced due to its pumping by two-stage mobile hydro compressor up to pressure of 1 MPa, at the second stage 1.1-1.15 MPa compressed nitrogen is supplied then atmospheric air is compressed and supplied at pressure of 1.2 MPa to the receiving part of disconnected section of MGL. Two gas pistons, nitrogen and air ones, displace the gas contained in disconnected section, then the remaining air contained in disconnected section is bled into atmosphere.

EFFECT: invention allows excluding gas release from disconnected section into the atmosphere thus providing high cost efficiency.
