FIELD: means for delivery of materials for formation of artificial fogs or smoke screens launched from transport facilities and intended for their protection against enemy's weapon with thermal guidance systems.

SUBSTANCE: the shell has an engine and a cylindrical metal body with a bottom containing pyrotechnic, propellant and primer-ejection charge. The shell is made for axial rotation, and the pyrotechnic charge in the form of a set of combustible annular elements is laid in two pairs of semicylinders and compressed from two sides by a movable piston and the body bottom. Each annular element is based on fiberglass impregnated by a compound forming an infra-red radiation, and a fireproof material is applied an it. The annular elements located in one of the pairs of semicylinders are made with an increased inside diameters, and the body and the engine are coupled with slackening.

EFFECT: enhanced quality and reliability of laying and action of the low-temperature false thermal target.
