FIELD: protection of military and civil objectives against reconnaissance and attacking means of enemy set and acting in the optical and radio-wave ranges of wavelengths of electromagnetic radiation by producing concealing aerosol curtains and/or false targets.

SUBSTANCE: the shell has a tubular body, clusters with a useful load and a starting device. Two pairs of pushers in the form of a semi-cylinder are installed in the cluster containing the useful load in the form of dipole material on the outer surface of its perforated tubular body in parallel with its longitudinal axis, the second pair of pushers overlaps the first one with a shift of the plane of separation by 90 deg. The cluster contains the useful load in the form of smoking material, made in the form of a great number of flexible plates of incombustible material with the smoking compound applied onto them and installed in a fan-shaped manner in the space formed by its perforated tubular body and the cluster flange. The starting device is installed in the sleeve of the tubular body attached to the cluster by the central tie, having a loosened section in the point of the attachment of the cluster to the sleeve. Pyrotechnical coupling of the charge of the starting device and the cluster propellant charge is made through the holes in the body sleeve. The means of initiation and ejection of the cluster is made in the form of a successive pyrotechnical coupling of pyroretarders and impulse charges, the pyroretarders are installed in the flange of each cluster, and the impulse charges - on the central tie in the cavity of each cluster formed by its perforated tubular body and the flange of the clusters.
