FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: shell has tubular housing, block of cassettes with payload and starting device. In the cassette containing payload in the form of dipole material, along outer surface of its perforated tubular housing parallel to its longitudinal axis there installed are two pairs of pushers in the form of semi-cylinders; at that, their second pair overlaps the first one with shift of disconnection plane through 90 degrees. In the cassette containing payload in the form of smoke-forming material made in the form of multiple flexible plates from incombustible material with smoke-forming composition applied to them and installed fan-like in the volume formed with its perforated tubular housing and flange of cassette. Starting device is installed in shell of tubular housing, which is connected to block of cassettes by means of central brace having plane of weakness at point of attachment of block to the shell. Pyrotechnic connection of charge of starting device and propellant charge of block of cassettes is made through holes in the housing shell. Initiation and ejection means of block of cassettes are made in the form of subsequent pyrotechnic connection of pyroretarders and pulse charges; at that, pyroretarders are installed in the flange of each cassette block, and pulse charges are installed on central brace of block in the cavity of each cassette, which is formed with its perforated tubular housing and flanges of cassettes.

EFFECT: use of invention increases protection efficiency of objects using dipole or smoke-forming material by setting effective dimensions of volumetric aerosol cloud.
