SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aerosol-generating device (10) for generating aerosol by induction heating of aerosol-forming substrate (97). Device (10) comprises device casing (19) containing cavity (20). Cavity is made with possibility of detachable arrangement of at least part of aerosol-forming substrate (97) to be heated. Aerosol-generating device (10) further comprises an induction heating structure comprising inductance coil (31) for generating an alternating magnetic field inside cavity (20). Inductance coil (31) is formed by multiple turns of combined cable (32) located around at least part of cavity (20). Combined cable (32) comprises electric wire (33) embedded at least partially into insulating sheath (34) of the wire. Wire (33) comprises multiple non-insulated conductors (35) in electrical contact with each other.
EFFECT: possibility of manufacturing a device and a system with an inductance coil using a simple, individually adaptable and cost-effective method, in particular, with a low failure rate.
