FIELD: food industry.

SUBSTANCE: idea of the method is as follows: oat-flakes and peas (preliminarily roasted at temperature of 170-220°C during 10 - 20 minutes) are prepared, dosed and milled. Starch or flour paste is prepared, cooled till a temperature of 50-80°C; sugar and deodorised sunflower oil are added to the paste. Oat-flakes and peas, milled to produce a flour, are mixed with the paste, the prepared mass is rolled into a 2-4 mm thick stratum, stamped to shape the product imitating peeled pumpkin seeds, dried at a temperature of 45-65°C until moisture content is 3-10% and cooled. The ratio of the components used is as follows, wt %: peas 12-17, starch or flour paste 6-11, sugar 0.1-0.3, deodorised sunflower oil 12-17, oat-flakes - the rest.

EFFECT: proposed method allows to produce a product imitating peeled pumpkin seeds from available components.
