FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices intended for separation of fluids or gases by folded membrane elements. Proposed module comprises coaxial outer 1 and inner 2 cylindrical shells with end covers 8, 9 attached thereto. Filtration membrane 11 is arranged between said covers along their edges in crimped folds. Drain elements 12 are arranged on both sides of the membrane. First and last folds of filtration membrane are tightly interconnected. Outer cylindrical shell has two filtration medium inlet and outlet annular collectors 2 and 3, respectively. Said collectors are arranged nearby the faces of said shell. Inner cylindrical shell comprises channels for collection of filtrate 7. Faces of outer and inner shells and crimped membrane edges are tightly jointed to end covers. Space between outer shell inner surface and membrane crimps crests, in between outer shell inlet and outlet collectors, is properly sealed.
EFFECT: simplified design and higher quality.
