FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices intended for separation of fluids or gases by folded membrane elements. Proposed module comprises top cover with filtrated substance feed and concentrate discharge branch pipes, bottom cover with filtrate discharge branch pipe, sidewalls and membrane folded zigzag-like. Drain and flow-distribution devices are arranged between membrane folds. First and second folds of the membrane are tightly jointed to sidewall inner surfaces. Membranes faces are arranged, together with faces of faces of top and bottom covers and sidewalls, in sealant layer. Space between top cover, flow-distribution devices, sidewalls and membrane fold crests between top cover inlet and outlet branch pipes, is sealed.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of filtration.
